Ben Sturner is the Founder and CEO of Leverage Agency, a premiere brand sports and entertainment company focused on emerging media and unique properties.

Sturner began Leverage Agency from his New York City apartment, and through Ben’s leadership, Leverage has emerged as a leading agency for clients in sports and branded entertainment industries.

Sturner has been responsible for securing sponsorship deals with top-tier properties and brands including: “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, PGA of America, LPGA, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball, Top Rank Boxing, Ironman, KFC, Gillette, Progressive Insurance, Southwest Airlines, Reebok, Comcast, Anheuser-Busch, Fremantle Media, Mark Burnett Productions and NBC’s Prime-Time “Celebrity Apprentice”, Reveille, Radical Media, as well as others.

Prior to starting Leverage, Ben was the Director of Marketing for Bennett Global Marketing Group. While at Bennett Global, Ben worked on sponsorship deals and event marketing for clients that included: Dunkin’ Donuts, Reebok, Manchester United and Level Vodka.

Sturner’s career began at Lycos where he managed the company’s marketing endorsement with Anna Kournikova including the development and implementation of the multi-platform advertising and promotional campaign “Win Anna’s Stuff.”

Sturner has been recognized by TrueNYC.com as New York City Entrepeneur-of-the- Month and has made television appearances on ESPN, NBC, CBS, CNBC and Tokyo Broadcasting System. Besides television, Sturner has been quoted in some of the nation’s top newspapers including: USA TODAY, New York Times and Wall Street Journal.

Besides Ben’s corporate responsibilities, he serves as an adjunct professor at New York University (NYU), serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Sports Film Festival, is a member of the High School of Sports Management Advisory Board and Carnegie Sports Group. Ben also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Sports Executive Association, as well as teaches a graduate seminar class on sports marketing at Columbia University. He also volunteers with the Jewish Experience (MJE) Foundation and the William J. Clinton Foundation.

Sturner earned his bachelor’s degree with cum laude honors from Boston University’s College of Communications and played as the No. 1 singles player on BU’s Division I men’s tennis team.

Currently, Ben resides in New York City.
